Key Responsibilities: 1.Interface with production department and bring necessary support to workshop material sourcing requirements2.Participate in sourcing project management and domestic supplier identification, assessment and development3.Work closely with suppliers on new product development, coordinate with suppliers on product technical requirements and work with quality department to ensure the product quality conform to our requirements4.Assist purchasing manager to request for quotation, cost analysis and negotiations with potential suppliers on prices, lead time, payment terms and warranty terms5.Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.6.Expedites the development process of initial parts, and also the delivery status of purchasing orders7.Ability to get along with others and to lead /work in a team environment.Qualifications:1.Bachelor in engineering or machining majors;2.Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.3.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.4.Ability to write simple correspondence.5.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.6.Competent in reading, writing and spoken English.Job Description:1. Conduct and manage the processes for obtaining best performance of qualified suppliers to meet requests from Quality and Procurement.2. Acts as an authorized function of the Company with responsibility for terms & conditions negotiation and signing.3. Conduct periodic supplier performance review, analyze the good and the bad, manage and develop suppliers’ performance.4. Set up stable supplier database and establish strategic relationships between the Company and suppliers as much as possible.5. Work with Quality Department to develop Approved Supplier List.
